2010 SD36 Candidates
Do you know who the candidates are?
It is easy to find information on the gubernatorial candidates running for the DFL Endorsement. It is a little harder to find information on candidates running within CD2 and SD36.
Congress – Minnesota’s 2nd District:
Dan Powers formally announced his intentions on November 17th to challenge John Kline. Powers was recently joined in the race by Shelley Madore who has expressed her intention to challenge Powers for the DFL Endorsement.
It is likely that the DFL endorsement will be awarded at the CD2 convention in April, but the process starts with candidate supporters attending the caucus and the Senate District 36 convention. Plan on attending the Feb 2nd, caucus if you want to help decide which candidate will challenge John Kline.
Senate District 36:
Colin Lee announced at a previous SD36 meeting that he is planning to challenge Mary Liz Holberg in House District 36A. At this point, there are no challengers to Pat Pariseau for State Senate or Representative Pat Garofalo in House District 36B.
