Great Turnout at the SD36 DFL Progressive Picnic!

August 20, 2011 Comments off

We had a great evening at the DFL SD36 Progressive Picnic picnic.  It was a great turnout, we had great food, a great response to our fundraising requests, and only a few rain drops.

We were really happy to have the  support of people like Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson, Franni Franken, DFL Treasurer Tom Hamilton, 2nd Congressional District Chair Jeanne Thomas and Associate Chair Shawn Growth all in attendance to help us get started on what will be an annual picnic event.

Thank you to everybody who brought food and donated silent auction items – You all made it a success!!!

Our next meeting is on October 6, 2011 at Lakeville Heritage Library.  The meeting starts at 6:30, and goes until about 8:00.  After the meeting we will be getting together for a little social get-together at Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant in Lakeville.  I hope you join us.
